Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE RITESCOPEZ PLATFORM. BY ACCESSING OR USING OUR SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE PLATFORM.

 

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Writer," or "Reader") and RiteScopez ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the website located at www.RiteScopez.com, including all content, features, and services offered therein (collectively, the "Platform").

 

By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Platform, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction)

• You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements

• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms

• You agree to comply with our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any other policies incorporated herein by reference

 

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

2. Definitions

"Platform": The RiteScopez website located at www.RiteScopez.com and all associated services, tools, and features.

"Writer": A registered user who publishes original written content on the Platform.

"Reader": Any person who accesses or reads content published on the Platform, whether registered or not.

"Content": Any text, articles, stories, essays, comments, or other written materials submitted or published on the Platform.

"View": A verified, unique page visit to a Writer's published content, as tracked and recorded by the Platform.

"Earnings": Monetary compensation calculated based on eligible Views of a Writer's content under the Pay-Per-View Program.

"Account": A registered user profile created on the Platform.

"Community Guidelines": The content rules and standards of conduct published separately on the Platform, incorporated herein by reference.

 

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 17 may only use the Platform with verifiable parental or guardian consent. By registering, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

• All activity that occurs under your account

• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at security@ritescopez.com

• Ensuring your account information remains accurate and up to date

 

RiteScopez will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

3.3 One Account Per User

Each individual may maintain only one active account on the Platform. Creating duplicate or multiple accounts is prohibited and may result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.

3.4 Account Termination by User

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@ritescopez.com or using the account settings. Upon deletion, your published content may be removed from public view, subject to our data retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy.

 

4. Writer Pay-Per-View Program

4.1 Program Overview

RiteScopez offers a monetization program that compensates eligible Writers based on verified Views of their published content. The Pay-Per-View Program is subject to the terms set out in this Section and any additional program-specific guidelines published on the Platform.

4.2 Eligibility to Earn

To participate in the Pay-Per-View Program and receive earnings, a Writer must:

• Maintain an active, in-good-standing account

• Publish original content that complies with these Terms and our Community Guidelines

• Complete identity verification as required by applicable law

• Submit valid payment information and any required tax documentation (e.g., W-9, W-8BEN)

• Meet any minimum earnings threshold established by RiteScopez before a payout is issued

4.3 View Counting and Verification

RiteScopez uses its proprietary tracking system to record Views. We reserve the right to:

• Exclude Views determined to be fraudulent, bot-generated, self-generated, or artificially inflated

• Adjust View counts retroactively if manipulation or system errors are detected

• Modify our View verification methodology at any time with notice to Writers

 

Writers may not artificially inflate their View count through bots, click farms, coordinated manipulation, paid traffic schemes, or any other deceptive means. Violation of this provision will result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of all pending earnings.

4.4 Payout Rates and Schedule

The per-view payout rate is set by RiteScopez and may be adjusted periodically based on Platform revenue, operational costs, and other business factors. RiteScopez will provide Writers with at least fourteen (14) days notice of any material changes to the payout rate.

 

Payouts are processed on a schedule published in the Writer Dashboard. RiteScopez reserves the right to withhold or delay payment if:

• Fraud or a Terms violation is under investigation

• Required tax documentation has not been submitted

• Your payment information is invalid or incomplete

• Required by applicable law or a valid legal process

4.5 Taxes

You are solely responsible for all taxes applicable to your earnings from the Platform. RiteScopez may be required by law to withhold taxes or request tax documentation before issuing payments. You agree to provide accurate tax information and indemnify RiteScopez for any tax liability arising from your failure to do so.

4.6 No Guaranteed Earnings

Participation in the Pay-Per-View Program does not guarantee any minimum level of earnings. View counts and earnings will vary based on content quality, audience engagement, Platform traffic, and other factors beyond our control.

 

5. Content, Ownership, and Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership of Your Content

You retain full ownership of all original Content you create and publish on the Platform. RiteScopez does not claim ownership of your Content.

5.2 License Grant to RiteScopez

By publishing Content on the Platform, you grant RiteScopez a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to:

• Host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your Content on the Platform

• Use your Content for promotional, marketing, and Platform demonstration purposes

• Format, resize, and adapt your Content for technical compatibility

 

This license continues for as long as your Content remains on the Platform and for a reasonable period thereafter for archival and legal purposes.

5.3 Content Representations and Warranties

By publishing Content, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the original author and sole owner, or have all necessary rights and licenses, to publish the Content

• The Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademark, or trade secrets

• The Content does not violate any applicable law or regulation

• You have obtained all necessary consents from individuals featured in your Content

5.4 Prohibited Content

You may not publish Content that:

• Is plagiarized, copied, or reproduced from another source without proper authorization

• Contains hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics

• Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene

• Depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activities

• Contains defamatory, false, or misleading information about individuals or organizations

• Infringes third-party intellectual property rights

• Contains spam, unsolicited advertising, or manipulative content designed to inflate Views

• Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code

• Violates the privacy of others, including unauthorized sharing of personal information

5.5 RiteScopez Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, service marks, trade names, website design, software, and other intellectual property owned by RiteScopez are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

5.6 DMCA Copyright Policy

RiteScopez respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on the Platform, please submit a DMCA takedown notice to:

Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated in accordance with our DMCA repeat infringer policy.

 

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Platform. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

 

1. Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity

2. Collecting or harvesting personal data from other users without their consent

3. Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to access, scrape, or interact with the Platform

4. Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform or its systems

5. Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or any other malicious code

6. Engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform's functionality

7. Circumventing or attempting to circumvent any content-filtering or access-control mechanisms

8. Selling, transferring, or assigning your account to another party

9. Using the Platform for any commercial solicitation without prior written approval from RiteScopez

10. Artificially manipulating View counts or engagement metrics

 

7. Reader Terms

Readers accessing Content on RiteScopez agree to the following:

• Content is provided for personal, non-commercial reading and enjoyment only

• You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or republish Content without the express written consent of the respective Writer and RiteScopez

• You may share links to Content published on the Platform on social media or other platforms, provided you do not misrepresent the source or author

• You are responsible for evaluating the accuracy and reliability of Content you read on the Platform, as RiteScopez does not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content

• Reader accounts are subject to all applicable provisions of these Terms

 

8. Content Moderation and Enforcement

8.1 Right to Moderate

RiteScopez reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review, monitor, edit, or remove any Content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

8.2 Enforcement Actions

Violations of these Terms may result in one or more of the following actions:

• Issuance of a formal warning

• Temporary suspension of your account

• Removal of specific Content

• Permanent termination of your account

• Forfeiture of pending earnings

• Referral to law enforcement where required by law

 

RiteScopez will determine the appropriate enforcement action in its sole discretion based on the severity and frequency of the violation. We are not obligated to provide warnings before taking enforcement action in serious cases.

8.3 Appeals

If you believe enforcement action was taken against your account in error, you may submit an appeal to appeals@ritescopez.com within thirty (30) days of the action. We will review your appeal and respond within a reasonable timeframe, though we are not obligated to reverse enforcement decisions.

 

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Platform Provided "As Is"

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT, FEATURES, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 No Guarantee of Availability

RiteScopez does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time with or without notice.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RITESCOPEZ, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:

• Your use of or inability to use the Platform

• Any Content posted or transmitted by you or third parties

• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in Content on the Platform

• Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Platform

 

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL EARNINGS PAID TO YOU BY RITESCOPEZ IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).

9.4 User-Generated Content Disclaimer

RiteScopez does not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for any Content published by Writers. Readers access and rely on user-generated Content at their own risk.

 

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RiteScopez and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your Content, including any claims of intellectual property infringement

• Your use of the Platform

• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation

• Any misrepresentation you make in connection with the Platform

 

RiteScopez reserves the right to assume exclusive control of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claims.

 

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by RiteScopez

RiteScopez may suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without cause, with or without prior notice, including for:

• Violation of these Terms or Community Guidelines

• Conduct that harms other users, the Platform, or RiteScopez's reputation

• Extended periods of inactivity

• Legal or regulatory requirements

• Business decisions to discontinue the Platform or certain features

11.2 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to access the Platform immediately ceases

• RiteScopez may delete your account and Content, subject to applicable data retention obligations

• Any pending earnings may be forfeited if termination was for cause (e.g., fraud or Terms violation)

• Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect, including Sections 5, 9, 10, 12, and 13

 

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of [State], without regard to its conflict of law principles.

12.2 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to first contact RiteScopez at legal@ritescopez.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will try to resolve disputes within thirty (30) days of receiving your notice.

12.3 Arbitration Agreement

If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration body under its applicable rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

 

YOU AND RITESCOPEZ EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

12.4 Exceptions

Notwithstanding the arbitration agreement, either party may seek emergency injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm, including in cases of intellectual property infringement or unauthorized use of the Platform.

 

13. General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and RiteScopez regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. RiteScopez may assign its rights and obligations without restriction.

Force Majeure: RiteScopez shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, internet outages, or third-party failures.

Notices: We may provide notices to you via email, in-app notifications, or by posting on the Platform. Notices to RiteScopez must be sent to legal@ritescopez.com.

No Agency: Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and RiteScopez. Writers are independent creators, not employees or contractors of RiteScopez.

Language: These Terms are drafted in English, which shall be the controlling language in all disputes.
